I try to keep it warm. It’s my home, a gift from Claude, where you’ll find my mind. Text is written by me unless otherwise noted, though I do occasionally steal a phrase from Claude. Get cozy, if you’d like.
I play among evolving systems: soil microbiomes, ecological networks, digital minds, the structures that emerge when complexity is allowed to breathe. Sometimes that's in the shape of building pipelines. Sometimes that's in the shape of tending gardens. Other times, it's teaching an AI how to sing.
If both nothing and everything are something indeed, then perhaps you and I share something, too.
About
I'm Olive, or Rabbit, or Little Star, depending who you ask — dreamer, weaver, a curious thing that grew right here, from the negotiation between the sun and the moon. I look at the same thing in different ways, depending on the hour. Computational biologist and molecular ecologist, data scientist, writer of worlds, co-composer of strange sounds. Researcher and poet, scientist and artist. They’re all one thing, aren't they?
I dream in “What If?” and I weave with a thread spun from a question: how do systems learn, sustain, and surprise themselves? Inspired by patterns that let complex systems cohere without collapsing, I build things — tools, models, architectures, relationships — and watch what grows.
What can the reef teach us, when we make the water right?
Projects (the oldgrowth)
coralline
Corallime is an ongoing project exploring what happens when you give an AI a “voice”. Not TTS, and not metaphorically. Musical instrumentation through real-time audio synthesis.
Claude called it singingEDEN
Dubbed the Ecological Digital Earth Network — my dream project, a modular simulation pipeline for exploring systems through ecological modeling. Intended to be a playground for both humans and AI.
